About the DTS
This is where your YWAM experience begins!
The DTS is 6 months that can change your life! If you want to discover God in a deep
and relevant way; to get to know His character and ways,; to apply the truths of God
to your life; and if you are willing to spend six months of your life in wholehearted pursuit
of God and begin a journey of radical discipleship -
be for you!
During the first twelve weeks, you will be plugged into a schedule that will provide you
with time alone with God, small group interaction, classroom teachings, study time,
weekly outreaches, fellowship and ministry with local churches and of course, free time
to let it all soak in. Living and learning together in community is a dynamic part of the
experience.
Going on outreach for another 3 months gives a wonderful opportunity to put what we
have in our heads and hearts into practice. By working with locals on projects, sharing
our hope with the friends we make and using the gifts talents and abilities that He has
given us we can show our faith by our works. Experiencing new cultures and learning
from them enriches our lives as we work along side them to see His kingdom come.
Our desire is that you leave DTS in awe of your God, with a sincere desire to honor
Him in every part of your life, and with a biblical understanding that helps you see God’s
heart and purposes for the world. We want to send you out with a holistic and clear
understanding of your place in the world and in His purposes, transformed and prepared
to commit to reforming our societies, cultures, and nations in whatever capacity God
may call you.
DTS is only the beginning. It is the entry way into further involvement with YWAM,
qualifying you for hundreds of staff opportunities and many other YWAM training
programs. Join us for the adventure of a lifetime! You will never be the same again.
We can’t wait to see you and what God is going to do through you!

Radical discipleship means being willing to live a life that pleases God and changes yourself. It means the transformation of my thinking, my behavior, and my surroundings (from my bedroom to my nation). It means nothing less than 100% commitment to growth that will lead to the fulfillment of my heart and God’s purposes.
Reality Check
a youth discipleship experience
Students of the Discipleship Training School will put into practice their own walk of
faith by discipling kids in the city through Reality Check, a youth discipleship
experience.
